Just bought my first eBike (my first any kind of bike, actually) and had a really positive experience with The eBike Shop Portland. The owner answered all my questions patiently, brought to my house for a test ride the two bikes I was interested in so that I could ride them on my home terrain and see how they could be parked and charged in my apartment.

One of the reasons that Ed at The eBike Shop is so successful, is his possession of the twin traits of patience and a positive attitude. I had a very important eTrike lesson from Ed, and I credit him with showing me how practicing continuously can overcome many difficulties, and make them into discoverIes. I went from feeling like I needed to get rid of it to being excited.

It was a pleasure working with Ed. He let us come look at a trike at the last minute and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Ed saved our weekend. The trike that I had brought to ride the banks-Vernonia trail decided that it was going to “fall apart” so I looked at a Eunorau trike and loved it. We just got back from riding 10 miles and the Eunorau rode like a champ! Thanks again Ed for saving our weekend.

I'm a senior whose car is an eBike. I love it! But one day it just died, as if the battery was expired. It wasn't. My bike ( a carbon fiber "Urtopia") is light enough to ride as a normal bike in a pinch. So not the end of the world, but scary because when I bought it few local bike shops would touch the electronics of a newer brand they don't carry.Thank you, Ed.
